Farm Days Festival 2022

Ethos Farm Project is a 501 c3, non-profit  founded to address the interconnected nature of how agriculture affects human health, planetary health, and our relationship with nature. We do so by producing truly nourishing food to feed our community and restoring the land – all while cultivating and empowering a new generation of farmers, doctors, and nurses through our hands-on educational programming.

To help us achieve our mission and vision, we resurrected Farm Days and brought people to our beautiful 342 acre farm in bucolic Long Valley, NJ, on Sept 24th and 25th, 2022. Farm Days was a weekend of insight and inspiration from our speakers: T. Colin Campbell, Dr Joel Fuhrman, Dr Michael Klaper, Dr Sailesh Rao, Gene Baur, and Dr Weiss. They talked about plant-based nutrition, environmental health and animal advocacy, and discussed how our diets not only affect our health but the health of the planet and our connection with animals and nature. There were also tours of the farm, plant-based food options, and movement activities throughout the two days.

  •  Walk and talk down the Farm Road with Dr. Weiss. Spend about 30 minutes in a small group with Dr. Weiss as he takes you for a stroll down the farm road to discuss the future plans of Ethos Farm and how we are working towards creating a more sustainable food system while helping to mitigate climate change.

  • Participate in a Mindfulness-based stress reduction session (MBSR) with Asha Gala, Lifestyle Clinical Director at Ethos Primary Care

  • Nature-based Whole Body Movement Experience with Jessi Stensland. Enliven and energize the whole body with sessions designed to “nutrify” and expand the ways in which you seek out, create and interact with your environment. Leave with takeaways that can be immediately applied to your own lifestyle.
