Ethos Farm to Health (EFTH) is the world’s first farm-based healthcare system, where health emanates literally, from the ground up. From the 2500-year-old Hippocratic teaching, farm-based healthcare recognizes that food is the most powerful medicine.
EFTH’s focus is on the regenerative production of whole plant foods grown in healthy soils. These “living medicines” are the essential tools utilized by the lifestyle primary care physician to prevent and reverse the chronic diseases that plague our society today.
As a lifestyle centered primary care facility, the farm-based healthcare system is one which is community-based, resilient, and cost-effective. It is a replicable model.
Rep. Earl Blumenauer held a press conference on March 29th to reintroduce his Food and Farm Act. Dr Weiss was asked to the Capitol to assist the congressman:
Our Mission
Ethos Farm to Health was founded to address the interconnected nature of how agriculture affects human health, planetary health, and our relationship with nature. We do so by producing truly nourishing food to feed our community and restoring the land – all while cultivating and empowering a new generation of farmers and physicians through our hands-on educational programming.

Together they add organic matter which sustains a healthy soil environment teeming with diverse microbial life. The healthier the soil, the healthier the plants!

Ethos Farm to Health was honored to be selected in March 2020 as a semifinalist from more than 1,300 applicants from around the world for the Rockefeller Foundation Food Vision 2050 Prize. Although we weren’t chosen to move ahead as finalists, we continue to pursue opportunities to advance our vision which is plant-based and situated in the Garden State of New Jersey.
